We invite you to take part in the education of teachers and professors in using the Oracle Java programming language. The goal of this kind of education is the participation and training of teachers and professors in the use of Java in classes organized as part of the Oracle Academy. The training that will be performed is:

• Basics of programming in the JAVA programming language ( Java Foundations ).

Oracle Academy is a collaborative program of Oracle Corporation with the academic and educational community. Through this program, educational institutions can use resources such as teacher training, educational content and software in their educational programs. Institutions can become members on the website https://academy.oracle.com , membership in the program lasts three years and is free for institutions, teachers and students.
The cycle of training that BLC will organize as part of the Oracle Academy program begins with training in the Java programming language precisely because it is one of the most widespread programming languages today and because developers who know this language are in high demand on the market, both in our country and abroad. and beyond, in the region and globally.
The backbone of the curriculum is practical work, which is carried out on modern network communication equipment and personal computers. The theoretical part consists of multimedia teaching materials available to participants via the Internet (e-learning). The program is 80% general and 20% specific to Oracle software products. All teaching materials are in English, while lectures and consultations are recorded in one of the languages represented in Bosnia and Herzegovina. After each lecture, homework is solved to check progress. All exams are in English and are taken by computer. A total of two exams are taken. The first exam is taken in the middle of the material, and the final exam at the end of the lecture.
The training will last 3 months and will consist of 12 online lectures according to the following schedule:

The deadline for registering participants is September 24, 2018.
The planned number of participants according to the curriculum is 30, and the minimum number of participants required to hold the course is 15.
All participants who successfully pass the scheduled exams will be issued a corresponding Oracle certificate for successfully passing the exam (participation and passed exams) - English. Final Exam Certificate
No fee is charged for participating in the training (note: the organizer does not cover travel and accommodation costs for participants who come to the training outside of Banja Luka).
