Babies got appliances
The Department of Intensive Care and Therapy of the Children's Clinic of the UKC Banja Luka was visited by a delegation of the organizers and participants of the Banja Luka Diva charity concert in their city. The concert was held on March 6 with the aim of raising funds for the purchase of equipment necessary to keep newborns alive. The delegation consisted of the mayor Dragoljub Davidović, in front of the host of the concert, opera diva Dunja Simić, in front of the participants, the director of the National Theater of the RS Nenad Novaković, in front of the organizer and co-organizer of Banja Luka College and the intellectual forum Nikola Tesla.
The delegation handed over 7 perfusors, devices used for dosing therapy in intensive care patients and one computer with scanner and printer.
The organizers and participants of the concert were thanked for the gifts by the head of the department of intensive care and therapy, Vesna Novaković, and Stojko Konjević, head of the Children's Clinic of the UKC.
In the conversation, after the device was handed over, it was pointed out that the concert, in addition to fulfilling expectations in terms of artistic and donor, drew the public's attention to the battles for the lives of babies that take place every day in the Department of Intensive Care and Therapy.
