Fair of innovations and new technologies

On September 24, 2020. (Thursday), from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the "Mladost" sports hall in Prijedor, the Fair of Innovations and New Technologies was held.

The organizer of the Fair is Banja Luka College (BLC) - Banja Luka, and the sponsor is the City of Prijedor.

The aim of holding the fair is the promotion of innovations and modern technologies and products, which contribute to increasing the competitiveness of companies, the development of society and the connection of the education system with the economy.

Students from primary and secondary schools (Electrical and Mechanical) and Banja Luka College - Banja Luka participated as exhibitors - innovators.

Among the business entities that exhibited their products that were created using modern technologies are Cromex Prijedor, East Code Banja Luka and Prijedor, Javor Prijedor, Mediamarket, and others. Development agency PREDA - Prijedor also presented itself at the Fair.

The visitors' attention was drawn to products created using 3D printers, then wood products created using CNC machines, as well as products created using laser technologies. Visitors could see and learn about electric powered vehicles, from scooters, motorcycles, to electric cars.

The fair was opened by the Mayor of Prijedor, Mr. Milenko Đaković.

The organizer of the Fair is convinced that such events can contribute to the promotion of innovation, as well as connecting the economy and the education system. Likewise, the City of Prijedor has recognized the importance of new technologies for the development of the City's economy.
