BLC students attended summer school at the University in Novi Mesto
[:sr]The Entrepreneurship Summer School was held in Novi Mesto, Slovenia, on July 2, 2018. – 6/7/2018 Students from Banja Luka College, as well as students from Novi Mesto, participated in the summer school. Niša, Virovitice. Banja Luka College was represented by students Andreja Babic Dejana Mišković and Slobodan Pešić and professor Rajko Macura.
The theme of the summer school is "Business opportunities in the glocal environment". The goal of this activity is to strengthen the ability to present business ideas to the local and international public (communication competence). This activity includes topics:
- Knowledge and understanding of the process of searching for and recognizing business opportunities and the possibility of using them in practice;
- Knowledge and understanding of mechanisms for identifying potential opportunities;
- Knowledge and competences for market research;
- Knowledge and understanding of the process of assessing a business idea, its characteristics and possibilities for its success on the market;
With the professors and management of the University in Novi Mesto, it was agreed to strengthen cooperation through the exchange of experiences, the exchange of students and professors, the formation of a network of higher education institutions, as well as the design of projects that will improve the quality of school work.
In addition to creative workshops on the topic of entrepreneurship, the participants of the summer school were introduced to the cultural heritage of Novi Mesto and Ljubljana. This was an opportunity for professors and students to exchange their experiences and views. Related to the way of working, the possibilities of introducing innovations, etc.
