Visit to the International Belgrade Book Fair

BLC students visited the International Belgrade Book Fair, which was held this year for the 62nd time. This year's slogan of the fair was "The key is in books", and as part of the "4 countries 1 language" program, 20 prominent creators for children and adults presented themselves to lovers of the written word. The focus of this year's book fair was contemporary literature in the German language, and visitors were presented with Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein with around 1,000 books by contemporary authors from all four countries.
The 62nd Book Fair marked some significant anniversaries: 800 years since the coronation of Stefan the First-Crowned, 250 years since Filip Višnjić, 170 years since the "Mountain Wreath", 150 years since the death of Charles Baudelaire, 125 years since Ivo Andrić, a century since the death of the poets Dis and Bojić, victims The Great War, 50 years of the novel "100 Years of Solitude", 50 years of the novel "Dervish and Death", a decade without Nikola Milošević and Stevan Raičković.
At the most representative literary manifestation in this part of Europe, where more than 450 direct exhibitors took part, forty of them from abroad, students and professors of BLC presented their publications from the school and the "Besjeda" publishing house.
